Rockstar Games has opened pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI. The game is set to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
This is a useful update because it replaces months of rumors with a clear release plan. Rockstar has also shared when digital pre-loading begins and what early buyers will receive.
What Rockstar confirmed
Digital pre-loading starts on November 12, one week before launch. Rockstar says the physical version will also be available on November 12, but the box will contain a download code instead of a game disc.
Anyone who pre-orders or buys the game before November 20 will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack. Rockstar describes it as a group of items based on an older Vice City look.
