One starting time, two consecutive broadcasts
The program was scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. Pacific, 9 a.m. Eastern, 3 p.m. Central European Summer Time and 10 p.m. Japan Standard Time. The Japan presentation followed the first broadcast. They were not two shows starting simultaneously.
Sony named Yuki Kaji as the Japan broadcast's host. The announcement established the format and timing without providing a complete named-game lineup.
What the format could change
Consecutive presentations create two editorial contexts within one viewing session. A worldwide showcase can introduce a broad audience to an announcement, while a Japan-focused program has room to speak more directly to a particular market. That does not, by itself, establish regional exclusivity for any game.
