PlayStation Plus subscribers are set for a notably varied September Game Catalog update, led by RuneScape: Dragonwilds, WWE 2K26, Ball x Pit and Date Everything!. PlayStation Blog says the full lineup arrives September 15 unless a title is separately noted, while Mega Man X Command Mission and Metro Redux join the Premium catalog.
A catalog built around sharply different play styles
The central additions do not chase a single genre. RuneScape: Dragonwilds is a co-operative survival adventure set on Ashenfall, where players gather resources, build, craft, develop skills and pursue the Dragon Queen. PlayStation identifies it as a PS5 title.
WWE 2K26 offers a different kind of long-form play: wrestling matches and a roster that PlayStation says includes more than 400 playable Superstars and Legends. Ball x Pit sends treasure hunters below the ruined city of Ballbylon, fighting through creatures with magic-infused projectiles. Date Everything! takes the dating simulator in an intentionally unusual direction, using magical glasses that make household objects into possible lovers, friends or enemies.
That range makes the update less about one marquee genre than about giving subscribers several distinct entry points, from cooperative crafting to combat and character-driven comedy.
Later arrivals have a narrower regional schedule
PlayStation lists Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, Dungeons of Hinterberg and Sniper Elite: Resistance for September 29 in the US, the UK and Japan. Ragebound combines classic-era Ninja Gaiden lore and gameplay with elements associated with the series modern 3D entries, according to the PlayStation Blog. Dungeons of Hinterberg pairs alpine exploration with dungeons, while Sniper Elite: Resistance follows SOE agent Harry Hawker in occupied France.
The distinction matters because the September 15 date applies to the full lineup unless otherwise noted, and these three games are specifically noted as later additions in named territories.
Premium adds two older role-playing worlds
Premium members receive Mega Man X Command Mission and Metro Redux. PlayStation describes Mega Man X Command Mission as a future-themed RPG in which Mega Man X protects Giga City, fights across more than 50 missions and combines with teammates during battle. Metro Redux follows Artyom through underground station cities after an apocalyptic event has made the surface hostile.
These additions give Premium a pair of story-led games alongside the broader Extra and Premium Game Catalog selection.
WWE arrives amid continuing reported support
The catalog inclusion of WWE 2K26 also lands as VGC reports that the game fifth Ringside Pass season adds Danhausen, Bam Bam Bigelow, Brie Bella and Pagano through its Premium route, alongside 35 new moves and taunts. VGC also reports a new chapter for The Island mode with quests, cutscenes and rewards featuring Stephanie McMahon.
That reporting is separate from PlayStation’s catalog announcement, but it provides useful context: subscribers entering WWE 2K26 through the Game Catalog encounter a game that VGC says is still receiving additional content.
Availability still depends on region
PlayStation says Game Catalog and Premium or Deluxe lineups can differ by region, and library streaming availability can vary over time and by country. The practical picture is clear: September brings a wide genre mix on September 15, followed by three named September 29 additions in the US, the UK and Japan, but individual storefront availability remains the deciding factor for each subscriber.
