The full week at a glance
Xbox Wire’s official August 10–14 calendar lists 26 releases across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC and Game Pass. The volume is the first useful data point: this is not a week carried by one launch. It combines a large sports release, several mid-sized action games and a long tail of puzzle, simulation and arcade projects. Xbox also warns that release dates can change, so the calendar is best treated as the current plan rather than a permanent guarantee.
Monday through Wednesday
Pieced Together opens the schedule on August 10 with a cozy scrapbooking puzzle game. August 11 brings Akatori, Bunny Pit Berry, Iridio, No More Room in Hell 2 and Trash Raccoon. That group ranges from a metroidvania and compact puzzle design to cooperative zombie survival and arcade roguelite play.
The August 12 group includes Duskfade, Pets Survivors and Pool Cleaning Simulator. Duskfade is positioned as a 3D action-platformer, while Pets Survivors uses top-down arena combat and Pool Cleaning Simulator focuses on a slower maintenance loop. The contrast matters because the calendar is serving several different audiences instead of repeating one genre.
August 13 is the busiest day
EA Sports Madden NFL 27 is the best-known release in the roundup. EA’s own briefing confirms an August 13 worldwide launch, a three-day Deluxe Edition early-access period beginning August 10 and a 10-hour EA Play trial. EA lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC storefronts and Nintendo Switch 2 as supported platforms, while Xbox Wire focuses on the Xbox release.
August 13 also includes Sandustry in Game Preview and Game Pass, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, Pro Jank Footy, Wild Blue Skies, Barkside Roads, Emergency Room Simulator, Idle Immortal, Kaboomania, Panzer Knights: Commander’s Edition, Plungeez and Skatesterre. The lineup moves from factory automation and military multiplayer to arcade sports, flight combat and smaller simulation games.
The Friday finish
Hidden Legends 2, Hunahpu Quest: Mechanoid, Lootbound, No More Slimes and Tower Dominion round out the August 14 portion of the calendar. These are smaller releases, but they give the end of the week a mix of hidden-object, puzzle, role-playing and strategy options.
Platform labels are worth checking
Several entries carry Xbox Play Anywhere, Smart Delivery or Series X|S optimization labels. Those badges are not interchangeable. Play Anywhere can matter to people moving between console and Windows PC, while Smart Delivery concerns receiving the appropriate Xbox version. Game Pass is also title-specific; its presence beside Sandustry does not mean the full 26-game list joins the subscription.
The useful takeaway is breadth. Madden NFL 27 is the commercial anchor, but the official calendar gives players 25 other releases to consider, including Game Pass and Play Anywhere options. Check the individual Xbox Store listing before buying or preloading because price, regional availability and release timing can still change after a weekly roundup is published.
